As the school year comes to a close, it is, once again, time for the Grade 8 Farewell Celebration. It is a day filled with both sadness and joy for student and staff alike. We rejoice and celebrate the fact that our Grade 8 students are moving on in their academic life, to bigger and better things. Yet, the day is tinged with sadness as we realise that we, here at the Paterson campus, will no longer be seeing these bright faces on a day-to-day basis.
On this day, as a school, we celebrate the achievements of our Grade 8 students, recognising their efforts in academics, Service as Action, their IB Learner Profiles, sporting contributions, and the overall completion of Grade 8. As we bid farewell to our Grade 8s, we were treated to a video montage of their journey, from Grade 6 to this point in Grade 8, and this trip down memory lane allowed us to marvel at how they have grown and matured in these 3 short years.
From all of us at the Paterson campus: we’re proud of you, Grade 8s, and we will certainly miss having you around. We wish you all the best in your next big educational adventure at the Preston campus.
