Facilities in the School

Library

The ISS Library provides a variety of library related services and programmes catered for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The library strives to serve the ISS community developing information literate students who can access library services that enable them to become lifelong learners, inspire them love for reading, and international mindedness. The ISS Library programmes are aligned with the IB curriculum including a solid and continuous Academic Honesty formation, integration and collaboration of curriculum programmes.

ISS International School has two libraries on campus which contain a collection of around 30,000 resources. The Primary Village School Library and High School Library are located at Block 5 and Block 4 respectively.

The library opening hours are:

  • Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.30 pm for teachers and students.
  • Parents and guests are welcome to use the library from 3.00 pm  to 4.30 pm.

ISS library uses an online database called “Accessit” and to access this, you can click on this link.

Should you require the assistance of any of the librarians, please contact them at library@iss.edu.sg.

Clinic

The ISS International School clinic is managed by our trained nurse. Students who are unwell may visit the clinic to rest and the nurse will advise if further external medical attention is required. Please note that our school clinics do not prescribe medication but will be able to provide initial triage.

Cafeteria

Students and staff can look forward to a new menu from The Gastro Guys. They bring with them freshly cooked food direct from the Preston kitchen. Their menu will comprise wholesome meals that are visually appealing yet retaining nutrients and flavour – healthier food options that taste great at reasonable prices.

Students in Kindergarten to Grade 2 may pre-order their food which will be delivered to their homerooms during meal times. Parents of these students will receive information regarding the ordering process at the start of each new school year. For new students, the orders will be part of the enrolment process.
